What the numbers on this site are, and what they are not.

No professional advice

Everything on this site and on the products it links to is published for informational and educational purposes. None of it is financial, investment, legal, tax, or professional advice, and none of it is a recommendation to place a bet or to buy or sell any security.

Jack Sechler is not a licensed investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner, and nothing here creates an advisory or fiduciary relationship. Decisions you make with your own money are yours.

Sports predictions and ParlayGenIQ

ParlayGenIQ publishes the output of statistical models. Model output is an estimate, not a forecast of what will happen, and no pick is a guarantee of any result.

  • Sports wagering involves real risk of financial loss. Most people who bet lose money over time.
  • Never wager money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
  • You are responsible for knowing whether sports wagering is legal where you are, and for meeting the minimum age in your jurisdiction.
  • Nothing here is an offer to place, accept, or broker a wager. No betting is transacted on this site.

If gambling is causing harm to you or someone you know, the National Problem Gambling Helpline is available 24/7 in the United States at 1-800-522-4700, and at ncpgambling.org.

DAITIQ Markets and financial models

DAITIQ Markets is a retrospective of a personal engineering project. It describes four automated trading systems that were simulated with paper accounts only. No real money was ever traded, no client funds were ever managed, and no securities were ever bought or sold.

The figures on that page are historical results of a simulation as of a fixed date. They are published because they are unflattering and instructive, not as evidence of a strategy worth copying. Three of the four systems lost money, and all four collectively underperformed simply holding an index fund.

Nothing on that page is a securities recommendation or an offer to manage money. For what simulated results can and cannot tell you, see Cannot Replicate.

Prediction markets and paper-only systems

DAITIQ Prediction Market IQ is an automated scanner for event contract venues such as Kalshi. It was built and validated with paper positions only between January and March 2026 and has been idle since. No account has ever been funded or connected to it, and it has never placed a trade with real money.

Should it ever trade real money, prediction market contracts are regulated financial products that can settle at zero, and an automated system placing them would carry a real risk of losing the entire amount staked. Nothing on this site is a recommendation to trade event contracts, on Kalshi or anywhere else, and no trading signal or contract selection is offered to anyone.

Past performance

Past performance does not indicate future results. This applies to every figure published on this site, including the 54.3% win rate and +1.2% return on investment shown for ParlayGenIQ. Those describe a specific historical window and can move in either direction.

Track-record figures are recorded as of the date shown alongside them and are refreshed from the published record. They may be out of date at the moment you read them, and the live record at parlaygeniq.com is the authority, not this site.

Accuracy and availability

The models, data pipelines, and figures described here are built and maintained by one person. They can contain errors, data feeds can be wrong, and services can be unavailable. Everything is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Where an error is found, the correction is made publicly rather than quietly.
